The Under-19 Italian National Team will begin their 2020 with a thorough test as they prepare to take on their Spanish contemporaries in a friendly on Wednesday 15 January (12:00 CET) at the Ciudad del Futbol in Madrid. 15 January will also see the two countries face off against each other in Rome, as the Under-17 sides of both nations will also be playing a friendly. Coach Alberto Bollini has called up 22 players born in 2001 and 2002 for the match, who will meet in Rome on Sunday 12 January to leave for Madrid the following day.
