After a 3-0 away loss against Turkey on 15 January, the Under-18 National Team are looking for immediate redemption as they take on their French peers in a friendly match, which will take place tomorrow, Wednesday 12 February (11:00 CET) at the French Federal Training Centre in Clairefontaine.
Twenty players, all born in 2002, convened in Rome on Sunday evening and arrived in France on Monday. There are first call-ups for Sassuolo defender Stefano Piccinini and Roma forward Riccardo Ciervo, but there are also two players who drop out from the original group. Verona defender Iyenoma Destiny Udogie and Juventus forward Cosimo Marco Da Graca are both unavailable so Coach Bernardo Corradi calls up two midfielders; Andrea Astrologo of Roma and Alessandro Bianco of Fiorentina.
