Ahead of Italy vs Greece: more than 45,000 tickets have been sold for the match at Stadio Olimpico

Having trained this morning at Coverciano, the National Team got on a train and headed to Rome. They arrived at the capital and visited the children recovering in the 'Bambino Gesù' paediatric hospital: marking 150 years of the hospital, the Italian Football Federation (Federazione Italiana Giuoco Calcio) has teamed up with the Hospital with a series of initiatives aimed at supporting the creation of the Institution for Tumours and Transplants.

On the eve of the match against Greece, the National Team will have their final training session tomorrow afternoon at Stadio Olimpico. Meanwhile the sale of tickets is in full swing ahead of the match which could be the match where Italy qualifies for EURO 2020: more than 45,000 tickets have already been sold and four years on since the capital last hosted the National Team, Rome prepares once again to embrace the Azzurri with all its passion. The fans will be hoping that by the end of the game they will be able to celebrate qualification and look forward to coming back again on 12 June 2020, when the their own Stadio Olimpico will host the first match of this first ever European Championship that will be hosted not in one country, but in twelve.
