Tomorrow the Women’s National Team will meet at the Mancini Park Hotel in Rome to begin their training camp ahead of the Algarve Cup, the prestigious tournament taking place from 4-11 March. On Saturday morning the Azzurre will leave for Faro – with a stopover in Lisbon – and from there they will travel by coach to Villamoura where preparations will begin for their first game against Portugal in the quarter-final on Wednesday 4 March (20:15 local time, 21:15 CET). On Saturday 7 March, the winners will progress to the semi-final while the losers will compete for fifth to eighth place. The Italian matches will be broadcast live on RaiSport.
