Italy to play Switzerland in Ferrara on 29 May, last test before World Cup

On Wednesday 29 May at 15:00 CEST, the Women’s National Team will play their final friendly before the 2019 FIFA World Cup, which is set to be held in France from 7 June to 7 July. The game will take place at the Stadio Paolo Mazza, with the Azzurre set to play for the third time in Ferrara after winning 4-0 in a European qualifying match against Bosnia in March 2012 and 2-1 against Belgium thanks to goals from Rosucci and Girelli last April in World Cup qualifying.
The National Team, who will meet up at Coverciano on Sunday evening to begin their preparations for the World Cup, will depart for France on 2 June. Their campaign will kick off in Valenciennes against Australia on Sunday 9 June before games against Jamaica in Reims on Friday 14 June and Brazil in Valenciennes on Tuesday 18 June will follow to finish off the group stage.
