France pip the Netherlands to third place, while Brazil and North Korea also go up one place in the top tenFriday, March 27, 2020
Italy maintain 14th place in the Women’s International Ranking published by FIFA. The Azzurre didn’t manage to gain a place despite their excellent performance at the beginning of March in the Algarve Cup, where Milena Bertolini’s team were forced to miss the tournament’s final against Germany and return to Italy due to the Coronavirus emergency.
The reigning world champions from the United States remain at the top of the standings once again, followed by Germany in second, while France take third place away from the Netherlands. Brazil (8th) and North Korea (10th) are the other teams to gain a place in the top ten. The next FIFA Ranking will be published on 26 June.
