Bollini starts with a win against Slovenia

Alberto Bollini got off to a positive start as Coach of the Under-19 National Team as Italy beat Slovenia 4-2 in Ajdovscina.
Italy were aggressive from the start with Roberto Piccoli opening the scoring 17 minutes in before adding his second in the 38th minute. Three minutes from the end of the half, the Slovenians pulled one back with Prelec scoring from twelve yards. In the 50th minute, Slovenia equalised. Italy responded to show pride and Chievo Verona’s Pietro Rovaglia fired the side back into the lead in the 78th minute before Inter’s Eddy Salcedo added a fourth two minutes from time.
The win in Slovenia brings this period of training to a close for the Azzurrini before the first stage of European Championship qualification in Italy between 13 and 19 November. The Azzurrini will be in Group 6 alongside Slovakia, Cyprus and Malta.
