General Provisions
In pursuit of full transparency, the FIGC has made every budget, social report and Report Calcio public along with the Management Report since 2015.
The Organisational, Management and Supervisory Structures in accordance with D.lgs. 231/2001 was set up with the aim of preventing illicit activity within the Federation. The model along with general principles and codes of conducts ensure compliance with D.lgs. 231/2001.
The Report Calcio provides an annual update on the Federation's activities with a view on the clubs, teams and members. The Corporate Social Responsibility Report is the first document that provides a comprehensive look of all the Federation’s activities, its mission and identity. It also looks at the organisation’s role in the sporting structure and the social impact on the country. The FIGC has also provided an Integrated Report since 2015 which builds on the previous Social Reports, illustrating the key strategies of the Federation with a particular focus on sustainability and transparency, while also valuing the sporting and youth side with references to professional football and sporting facilities while also revisiting rules and regulations.
The Management Report emerged from trimester reporting that was introduced in 2015 and it involves 15 areas of the FIGC and their internal functions. It, therefore, operates as both an internal communication tool and way of monitoring results according to the organisation’s goals.
From 2016, the FIGC has promoted an innovative study into football and the related economic statistics from grassroots activity and all across the pyramid with an economic report that involves almost 1.5 million people. The report is not just an analysis of professional football, but it also takes grassroots activity into account along with information concerning the FIGC and various leagues.
