Italians Abroad. Patrick Cutrone’s first Premier League goal not enough for Wolves
Meeting of Italians in England as Jorginho wins but the former Rossoneri man hit his first goalMonday, September 16, 2019
There was another Italian clash in England at Molineux in Wolverhampton as Patrick Cutrone’s Wolves side faced Jorginho and Emerson Palmieri’s Chelsea although the latter didn’t feature. The former AC Milan forward hit his first Premier League goal but it was the midfielder who was celebrating as Chelsea won 2-5.
Cutrone was brought on by Nuni Espirito Santo at the start of the second half as Wolves tried to turn it around after the Blues finished the first half 0-3 up. He helped bring energy to the side and his first goal in England made it 2-4 in the 85th minute. It was a true poacher’s finish as he was in the right place at the right time to net from close range. The fifth goal was scored by Mount in the 90th minute to finish the game off for Chelsea.
It was another positive display from Chelsea as he kept the play moving for the young side that was helped by an inspired Abraham display as hit a hat-trick.
